Going forward, BGMI will combine three ranking seasons into one cycle and players can win additional rewards by maintaining a specific tier within a cycle. In the new system, cycles and seasons will be numbered like C1 S1 and so on. To explain, the Ranking Season 20 will be called C1 and its three consecutive seasons will be called C1S1, C1S2, and C1S3. Once the C1 ends, the new cycle (Ranking Season 21) will kick off as C2S1, C2S2, and C2S3, and so on.

Similarly, the Royal Pass seasons will now be hosted on a monthly basis instead of the usual two-month duration and will be abbreviated as ‘M’. Krafton will release a different Royal Pass season for each month. The upcoming Season 20 will be dubbed M1, Season 21 as M2, and likewise. Both M1 and C1S1 this time will kick off at 7.30 am on July 14th.

BGMI players should know that Royal Pass is a seasonal item and is valid only until the end of the corresponding season. A new Royal Pass needs to be purchased when the new RP season opens. When Season 19 closes, both the Royal Pass level and RP will be reset and players need to claim their rewards before the season end (5.30am on July 14th).
