Today, another Black Shark phone with model number PSR-A0 has appeared on the Google Play Console. Judging by the model number and specifications, it’s likely to be the Black Shark 4 Pro.

Last year, Black Shark announced the Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro gaming phones in early March. It appears that this year’s Black Shark 4 series may also include two models, the Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro.
Black Shark 4 Pro spotted on Google Play Console listing

The Black Shark 4 Pro could feature 12GB RAM and Android 11
As it can be seen in the screenshot above, the Black Shark device has the codename “penrose” and model number “PSR-A0”. The phone’s display features Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a 440ppi pixel density. It runs Android 11.
The device features 12GB RAM, and is listed with a Qualcomm SM8250 chipset, which is the Snapdragon 865. The Black Shark 4 series is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor, so it’s likely to be a mistake in the listing. The Black Shark 4 Google Play Console listing also had an error for the processor, which showed the dated Snapdragon 835.

The Black Shark 4 Pro could feature a punch-hole camera and dedicated gaming triggers on the right
The image of the phone suggests that it could be sporting a punch-hole camera. Its left edge features what looks like a volume rocker, while the right edge appears to be fitted with trigger buttons for gaming.
Black Shark 4 Pro specifications and features (expected)
At present, there is no concrete information on the specifications of the Black Shark 4 Pro. Last year, the Black Shark 3 Pro featured a larger QHD+ display and a bigger battery as compared to the vanilla model. Hence, there is a possibility that the Black Shark 4 Pro may come with a bigger display and battery than the Black Shark 4. The latter is confirmed to arrive with a 4,500mAh battery and 120W fast charging support.
