BlackBerry recently unveiled the BlackBerry KEYone at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. To recall, it was initially showcased at Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year. The good news, the BlackBerry KEYOne will soon be available to purchase in India at Rs 39,999, an online retailer OnlyMobile confirms. The phone is currently listed on the retailer website as ‘coming soon.’ No exact timeline of the launch is known just yet, though.
The TCL-made BlackBerry KEYone flaunts an aluminium unibody design and QWERTY keypad below the screen. It sports a 4.5-inch display featuring 1620 x 1080 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chip paired with 3GB RAM. It packs a 3505mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0, which is claimed to last a couple of days.
Concerning In terms of optics, the BlackBerry KEYone has a 12MP Sony sensor on the rear with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, EIS and 4K video recording. It also houses an 8MP secondary camera up front for selfies. The phone carries Android 7.0 Nougat software alongside a front-mounted fingerprint scanner. Some of the pre-installed apps include BBM, Hub and DTEK Security. Users get 32GB internal memory, expandable up to 2TB via microSD.
