The American smartphone brand found in Miami, Blu has launched a new smartphone in its home market dubbed as Blu R1 Plus. The phone carries a price tag of $159.99 and is available on Amazon. It comes in only colour option – Slate Grey.
Specs-wise, the Blu R1 Plus puts on a 720p curved display stretch across 5.5-inch. Furthermore, it also gets Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. Inside is a quad-core MediaTek 6737 processor ticking at 1.3GHz. Accompanying the processor is 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage further expandable via MicroSD card up to 64GB.
For photography, the Blue R1 Plus sports a 13-megapixel rear camera. Up front is an 8-megapixel snapper for video calling and selfies. The phone also gets LED flash on both front and back side. It draws its strength from a 4000mAh mammoth size battery and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It is a dual SIM phone extending its support to connectivity features such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a microUSB port, and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 153 x 76.6 x 10.5 mm in dimensions.
