Theatres and OTT platforms are running new content regularly, and both have their set of dedicated audiences. Sometimes certain movies opt for direct-to-OTT platform release, skipping their theatrical release. Vicky Kaushal’s next with Karan Johar, Govinda Naam Mera, has opted for this route. Following suit, another Hindi film titled Blurr will have an OTT release. Blurr stars Taapsee in the lead role. Recently, Taapsee starter TAdka: Love is Cooking made a direct OTT release on the same platform.
Blurr OTT Release Date: When and where can you watch it online
Skipping the theatrical release Bollywood movie Blurr will stream on the OTT platform Zee5. The movie will be available to users from December 9th 2022. The announcement for the release was made by the platform on its social media platform and it has a Blurred video of Taapsee and does not reveal much about the movie’s plot.

The official social media handle of the OTT platform, Zee5 India, shared a glimpse of the movie with a motion poster. They announced the release date of Blurr with the post. They wrote, “There’s always more than what meets the eye! #BlurrOnZEE5 premieres 9th December. #Blurr #ZEE5”, the poster and the caption set an intriguing and absorbing tone to the upcoming Hindi movie.
Blurr Cast and Crew
The movie stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. She essays the character of Gayatri. Gulshan Devaiah, Kruttika Desai, Babita Anant, Abhilash Thapliyal, Sorabh Chauhan, and Manish Sharma (Backagaindancer) star in the film. Ajay Bahl is the director of Blurr. It is written by Ajay Bahl and Pawan Sony. Vishal Rana, Taapsee Pannu, Pranjal Khandhdiya, Tony D’souza, Pradeep Sharma, and Manav Durga are the movie’s producers. Zee Studios, Outsiders Films, and Echelon Productions are the production banners. It is Taapsee Pannu’s maiden project as a producer.

Blurr Storyline
The film is based on Julia’s Eyes, the 2010 Spanish horror and psychological thriller by Guillem Morales. Not much is known of Blurr’s storyline as the trailer is not out yet, but Taapsee Pannu and Gulshan Devaiah’s starrer film will revolve around a woman who is trying to investigate the death of her sister (twin), and she is losing her eyesight slowly. Taapsee Pannu shared the first look of the film way back in July 2021 on her Instagram account.
