boAt Watch Iris has been launched in India. It is the latest addition to the homegrown brand’s smartwatch portfolio that keeps expanding. The smartwatch is the first from the company to feature an AMOLED display.

The boAt Watch Iris is said to be the brand’s most premium smartwatch to date. It falls under the Rs 5,000 price segment and goes up against the likes of Realme Watch S (review), Amazfit Bip U Pro, Noise ColorFit Ultra 2, and others in the market.

The boAt Watch Iris comes with a circular dial featuring a 1.39-inch AMOLED display and 462 ppi pixel density. It sports a premium metal body with leather and silicone straps. The device is IP68-rated sweat, splash, and dust resistant. 

In terms of fitness features, the boAt Watch Iris offers a heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, sleep tracker, and a sedentary reminder. It comes with support for 8 sports modes including walking, running, cycling, skipping, badminton, basketball, football, and swimming. The wearable device is capable of tracking metrics like calories burnt, steps counter, and distance covered. Users can manage their health data on the boAt Hub app. 

The boAt Watch Iris packs various convenience features such as notifications display, camera and music control, and more. The wearable device is claimed to deliver 7 days of battery life.

The boAt Watch Iris costs Rs 4,499 and is offered in Active Black, Flaming Red and Navy Blue colours. It will be available for purchase from December 23rd, 12 pm onwards on the brand’s official website.
