‘Joking Bad’ to release on Netflix India YouTube channel on January 20; Lollu Sabha returns with the spoof of Breaking Bad

If one creates the list of iconic shows ever made globally, then Breaking Bad would be one of the names, on top of the list. Over the last many years, the show has retained its popularity with fanbase growing significantly. Thanks to OTT platform, Breaking Bad is now available to the audience online, and this has helped in increasing the reach to newer audiences.

About Joking Bad – Where to Watch it Online

However, banking on the concept and presenting it in a new, comical manner, is Netflix’s new video release on YouTube. Titled ‘Joking Bad,’ the show will feature popular names from the Tamil entertainment industry who have been a part of the popular Vijay TV show Lollu Sabha. The show aired from 2004 to 2007 and became one of the must-watch when aired. Created by Ram Bhala, the Boys from Lollu Sabha are back, this time to recreate their own version of the cult web series by presenting ‘mokka jokes’ and entertaining the audience.

Fans can watch ‘Joking Bad’ on Netflix India’s YouTube channel on January 20, 2023. The video will be released at 6pm.

Sharing the trailer of the special video, the team from Netflix South, took to Twitter and said, “”Mannenna. Vepenna. Velakkena, series mudinju pona enakkena?” nu solli Breaking Bad-ah spoof panna varanga. Joking Bad, a Breaking Bad spoof, arrives on 20th January at 6pm on Netflix India’s YouTube channel.”

Members of the cult show, Lollu Sabha – Manohar, Swaminathan, Jeeva, Seshu, and many others – aired in over 150 episodes of the TV show which spanned over three years. With an aim to entertain the audience, the team from Vijay TV planned a re-telecast during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in 2020. Many popular actors like Yogi Babu, Santhanam, and others, who have earned a name in the movies, were once a part of Lollu Sabha.
