BSNL broadband plans revised in multiple circles, now offer faster speeds and more data

The state-run telco, BSNL has revised its existing Bharat Fiber broadband plans across multiple circles in India. The new revamped plans now offer enhanced speeds and increased data limits. The revamp comes as part of BSNL’s customer delight month celebrations.

The customer delight month is celebrated to mark the 20- year anniversary of the telecom operator earlier this month. BSNL has revised the plans in Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh East, Uttar Pradesh West and Uttarakhand.

For all plans priced under Rs 500, BSNL is now offering up to 50Mbps speeds and post FUP, the speed will be reduced to 2Mbps. BSNL has also revised plans between Rs 500 and Rs 650 to offer 100Mbps speeds, with post-FUP speeds restricted to 2Mbps. The telco has also announced that the plans priced between Rs 650 and Rs 799 are now offering 100Mbps speeds and will be restricted to 5Mbps post FUP.

The BSNL broadband plans priced between Rs 800 and Rs 999, including the 600GB_CUL plan priced at Rs 849 per month, will now offer up to 100Mbps speeds till 600GB. Post 600GB, the speed will be restricted to 10Mbps. The 600GB plan used to offer 50Mbps speeds till 600GB previously, restricted to 2Mbps post FUP.

The telco has also revised its monthly plans priced between Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,499 to provide up to 200Mbps speeds till 3.3TB, after which it will be restricted to 15Mbps. Lastly, the plans above Rs 1,499 now offer up to 200Mbps speeds till 4TB and 20Mbps post the 4TB limit.

BSNL has already listed the revised plans in all nine circles in India. It’s expected that the revised plan will be made available across the country soon, except for Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
