BSNL has a dedicated selfcare portal, which offers features such as bill payment, new service booking, broadband password change, registering and tracking of complaints. Remember, the selfcare facility is available only for Landline, Broadband, Bharat Fiber, Wings, BB over WiFi, and BB over EPBAX users. Prepaid and postpaid mobile users cannot access this portal for registering complaints.

How to raise a complaint through the BSNL Selfcare portal?

BSNL Fiber, landline and broadband users can submit the complaint through the selfcare portal in easy steps. You don’t require registration or a login to submit the complaint.

  1. Visit the BSNL Selfcare portal
  2. Click on the ‘Register Complaint’ link located on the side bar
  3. In the next page, choose ‘Register Complaint’
  4. Choose the ‘Service Type’ from the drop down menu
  5. If you are using broadband and landline, it will ask you to enter the Telephone number
  6. Choose the complaint type from the list
  7. Enter the captcha
  8. Click on ‘Submit Complaint’

Once you submit the complaint, you will be given a ‘Service ID’ using which you can track the status of the complaint in the same portal (link).

How to contact BSNL customer care through Twitter?

Twitter is the major platform that helps companies to reach out to the customers for solving major and minor issues that customers come across while using the services. BSNL has dedicated Twitter handles specific for each telecom circle. All BSNL landline, broadband, prepaid and postpaid mobile users of respective telecom circles can thereby tag or DM their query to respective Twitter handles. Customer care executives will reach out to users with the solution in the form of reply. In any case, if users feel the first level of complaint is not addressed or not satisfactory, they can tag the Chairman and Managing Director of BSNL.

BSNL new SIM activation process

TRAI has set a new rule for all the telecom companies, wherein the customers who purchase a new SIM card need to verify their identity through tele-verification. So, once you purchase a new BSNL SIM card, you need to follow a process to get it activated. Here it goes:
