Major telecom operators in India like Airtel and Vodafone include a free subscription to one OTT service or another with their recharge plans. With the ongoing pandemic and ensuing lockdown, streaming platforms like Netflix, Prime Video and more have witnessed an increase in viewership. This, in turn, has increased the popularity of recharge plans offering these free subscriptions. To take advantage of this, state-owned telecom operator BSNL has also jumped on the bandwagon. The telecom operator is now offering a free Amazon Prime subscription to its postpaid and broadband users in India.
BSNL postpaid plans above Rs 399 get Amazon Prime subscription
While BSNL’s postpaid plans start from as low as Rs 99, in order to get a free Amazon Prime subscription users will have to recharge with Rs 399 or above. Other plans that offer Amazon Prime subscriptions are priced at Rs 401, Rs 499, Rs 525, Rs 725, Rs 798, Rs 799, Rs 1,125 and Rs 1,525. Of these, some plans like Rs 499 and Rs 798 are not available in all circles except for Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. BSNL is also giving the Amazon Prime subscription offer to its broadband users. However, broadband users need to be on the Rs 745 or above plan to be eligible for the subscription.
As part of the advance rental postpaid plans, a user can get a year-long subscription by paying for just 11 months, with a bundled Amazon Prime subscription. Similarly, they can pay for 21 months and get a subscription for two years. BSNL is also offering a free Eros Now subscription worth Rs 99 with some prepaid plans, and Hotstar Premium plan with some broadband plans.
How to get BSNL Amazon Prime Subscription
After selecting one of the aforementioned plans for your BSNL Postpaid number, you will need to visit the official BSNL website and fill out details like your BSNL cell phone number, email ID, circle and state. You will then get an OTP to validate the number after that you can use your BSNL credentials to log into Amazon Prime and enjoy the subscription.
