BSNL Rs 399 prepaid plan with 80 days validity and 1GB daily data announced

BSNL has launched a new plan with the denomination of Rs 399. The telco already had a Rs 399 plan called STV 399, which has been discontinued along with the PV 1,699 plan. The new BSNL prepaid plan is called PV 399 and has been announced by the Chennai circle.

The state-run telco has announced that the new prepaid voucher will be available starting August 15th. The other two plans mentioned above will be discontinued starting August 14th 2020. The new Plan Voucher 39 comes with 1GB daily high-speed data and a validity of 80 days.

The new BSNL Plan Voucher Rs 399 prepaid pack has been announced by the Chennai circle of the telco. As of now, it’s not clear which other circles will receive the new plan. The plan comes with a validity of 80 days, which is also the validity of benefits offered with the plan. Users will get 1GB high-speed data every day, which is a total of 80GB high-speed data. Post the FUP limit of 1GB every day, the data will be unlimited at a reduced speed of 80KBps.

Apart from the data benefit, the BSNL PV 99 prepaid plan will also offer unlimited voice calls. This benefit is valid for all local, STD and roaming calls. However, there’s an FUP limit on calls as well, which is 250 outgoing minutes (local + STD + outgoing roaming) per day. After the FUP limit is reached, the calls will be charged basis the base plan tariff. BSNL has announced that the base plan applicable with PV 399 is “Advance Per minute plan 94”. This charges local mobile calls and BSNL landline calls at Re 1 per minute and other landline and STD calls at Rs 1.3 per minute.

The BSNL PV 399 plan is also offering 100 SMS per day to its users apart from free BSNL tunes, and free Lokdhun content. The plan can be availed from C-TOPUP, self-care and the web portal starting August 15th.
