The state-run telco, BSNL recently notified customers through an SMS that it will be discontinuing the Rs 74 prepaid plan in favour of the Rs 106 prepaid plan. Now, the telecom operator has gone ahead and launched the BSNL Rs 106 and Rs 107 prepaid plans. These plans come with data and calling benefits with 100 days of validity.

The new prepaid plans have been launched pan India and are listed under the ‘Plan Extension’ section on the official website. These plans are called PremiumPerSec_106 and PremiumPerMin_107. As you can tell, the difference between these two plans is of pulse rate. Let’s take a look at all details of the new plans.
BSNL Rs 106 and Rs 107 prepaid plans launched in India
As mentioned before, the new plans are called PremiumPerSec_106 and PremiumPerMin_107. The former has a pulse rate of one second and the latter has a pulse rate of 60 seconds. Notably, the pulse rate is the minimum duration for which a voice call is charged by the operator. Apart from this, all other benefits including validity, data and calling minuted offered by both plans are the same.
The PremiumPerSec_106 and PremiumPerMin_107 BSNL prepaid plans come with a validity of 100 days. Users will get 3GB of high-speed data to be consumed within the validity period. Additionally, the plans offer 100 minutes of voice calls to any network in India for 100 days. Lastly, the customers will also get free BSNL Tunes for a duration of 60 days.
To recall, BSNL will discontinue its Rs 74 prepaid plan from December 1st and is asking customers to move to Rs 106 plan. The Rs 74 plan offered 90 days of validity, 2GB high-speed data and 100 minutes of voice calls to any network in the country.
