The state-run telco, BSNL is known for coming up with attractive prepaid plans for its subscribers. The company recently announced two annual prepaid plans called PV_365 and PV_1499 with unlimited calls and data benefits. Now, the telco has launched a budget prepaid plan with a denomination of Rs 49.

The new BSNL prepaid plan comes with data and free voice calling benefits and joins Rs 94, and Rs 95 BSNL plans, which offer similar benefits under Rs 100. The new prepaid pack has been made available from September 1st and will be available for a limited period. Here’s what you need to know about the latest BSNL prepaid plan.
BSNL STV_49 prepaid plan offers 100 minutes of free voice calls
The BSNL Rs 49 prepaid plan is a limited duration offer and will be available only for 90 days starting September 1st. The prepaid pack comes with a validity of 28 days. Those recharging with this pack will get 2GB of data for the duration of its validity. Additionally, the pack offers a total of 100 free SMSes to its users.
As for the calling benefits, the BSNL STV_49 prepaid plan offers 100 minutes of free voice calling to any network in the country. Post 100 minutes, BSNL will charge voice calls at 45 paise per minute. Apart from these, the budget prepaid plan offers no other benefits.
On the other hand, the Rs 95 and Rs 95 prepaid plans mentioned before come with a validity of 90 days, which can be extended using prepaid vouchers. Both plans offer 3GB data and 100 minutes of free calling but with different call rates once the calling FUP is over. Moreover, the benefits of these plans need to be consumed within 90 days, else they expire.
