BSNL Rs 699 prepaid plan with unlimited talktime now available pan-India

BSNL had launched its Rs 699 prepaid plans previously in select circles. The state-run telco has now extended the availability of the plan pan-India, including Kerala. The benefits of the BSNL prepaid plan remains the same as earlier. These include data, SMS, and unlimited voice calling.

Recently, the telecom operator extended the validity of its Rs 1,999 and Rs 2,399 plans as part of the BSNL Republic Day 2021 offer on January 25th. On the same day, BSNL announced that the Rs 699 BSNL prepaid plan will now be available across all circles in India where it operates. The Rs 699 BSNL prepaid plan offers 500MB daily high-speed data to its users. Once the allotted data is exhausted, the speed will drop to 80Kbps for the rest of the day. The plan also offers 100 SMSes per day as well as unlimited voice calling without any FUP restrictions to its users. The new BSNL prepaid plan comes with a validity of 160 days and is a good option for those who want a recharge primarily for making calls.

To recharge, interested users can visit the official website of the state-run telco. They can also dial the USSD code ‘*444*699#’ on their phone to recharge with the new plan. Additionally, users can send ‘PLAN BSNL699’ as an SMS to 123. Existing users have to ensure that they have enough balance before sending the SMS.

In related news, BSNL is offering customers in Kerala a free 4G SIM card should they opt for a First Recharge Coupon of Rs 100 and above, till January 31st, 2021. The offer is applicable to both new users and those porting to BSNL from other networks.
