The state-run telecom operator, BSNL has launched a new prepaid plan in India to mark the occasion of Ramadan and Id-ul-Fitr. The Ramadan and Eid special plan is not new for the telco, as the company launches a Rs 786 plan every year to celebrate the occasion of Ramadan and Eid. While the denomination of the plan remains the same every year, the benefits keep changing.
Apart from the Eid special, the telecom operator has also announced a standard prepaid plan of denomination Rs 699 for its prepaid subscribers. Both these new plans are now available across all telecom circles where BSNL is operational.
BSNL launches Combo Voucher 786 with 90 days validity
The Combo Voucher 786 comes with a validity of 90 days from the date of recharge, which means all benefits of the plan will expire post the validity period. The Rs 786 BSNL plan will be available to prepaid users for 30 days from May 23rd, 2020, to June 21st, 2020. The plan can be availed through CTOPUP, the web and self-care activation.
Those opting for the BSNL Combo Voucher 786 will receive Rs 786 talk time and 30GB data. There are no other benefits included with the plan.
BSNL launches Rs 699 plan with 180 days validity and 500MB daily data
As for the Rs 699 BSNL prepaid plan, it’s a semi-annual plan with a validity of 180 days. Notably, the actual validity of the plan is 160 days, but BSNL is offering 20 extra days of validity for the first 90 days. The new plan from the state-run telco offers benefits like 500MB data per day, unlimited free calls to any network within India (250 minutes/per day) and 100 SMS/day.
The users of this plan will also be entitled to free voice calls to MTNL mobile numbers in Delhi and Mumbai circle. The plan also offers free Personalised Ringback Tone (PRBT) to users for the first 60 days. The Rs 699 pack is available through CTOPUP and Web portal only.
