The state-run telecom operator BSNL offers the Vasantham Gold prepaid plan in Tamil Nadu circle. One of the most popular plans in its circle, the Vasantham Gold plan is priced Rs 96 and was reintroduced in the market in January 2020 with 90 days of validity. The plan was intended for people who mainly use their phones for calls and SMS.
Now, the telecom operator has reduced the validity of the Vasantham Gold by 30 days, which means it will be valid for only 60 days. However, apart from the validity duration, no other benefits of the top-up plan have been changed. Here’s all you need to know about the BSNL Vasantham Gold PV recharge offer.
BSNL Vasantham Gold prepaid plan validity reduced in India
BSNL was offering the Vasantham Gold prepaid voucher worth Rs 96 in India with a validity of 180 days last year. The validity was slashed in half and was reduced to 90 days earlier in 2020. And now, the validity has been once again slashed to 60 days by the telecom operator. However, the talk time validity remains the same as before, which is 21 days.
BSNL Vasantham Gold prepaid plan benefits
As mentioned before, the BSNL Vasantham Gold plan is for those who enjoy calling and SMS benefits. As such you get free 250 minutes of talk time per day to any domestic and national roaming number. Bear in mind that Mumbai and Delhi circles are not included in the calling benefits. Users of this plan also get 100 SMS per day to any active network.
The calling and SMS benefits will only be available for 21 days, and for the remaining days users will be able to receive incoming calls. After 60 days are over, BSNL will offer two grace periods of 7 days each, post which the plan will be terminated.
