BSNL Work from Home prepaid plan benefits
As mentioned before, all three new plans from the telecom operator are data-only work from home plans. This means that those recharging with these BSNL prepaid plans will not offer any calling or SMS benefits. Starting with the Rs 56 work from home prepaid plan, it offers 10GB data for 10 days without any daily limit.
Moving on to the Rs 151 prepaid plan, the users get 40GB data benefit, whereas the Rs 251 work from home plan offers 70GB data for the duration of the validity. Both Rs 151 and Rs 251 plans come with a validity of 28 days. BSNL is also offering Zing Music app subscription with these plans.
Coming to the competition, Jio also offers Rs 151 and Rs 251 work from home plans with 30GB and 50GB data benefits respectively. Jio offers a Rs 201 plan as well with 40GB data benefit. In comparison, Airtel and Vi are offering 50GB benefit with their work from home prepaid plans. Vi has a second Rs 351 work from home plan with 100GB data benefit.
BSNL is definitely ahead in terms of offering more data benefit but it’s restricted to 2G/3G network, in most parts of the country.
