Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 PC system requirements
As is common with any PC game, players often focus on their system to see whether they will be able to run the title as they would like to. This also allows them to enjoy the game at high settings and with an immersive experience. Unlike other games that offer minimum and recommended specifications, Activision has given fans four options for playing Modern Warfare 2. These are minimum, recommended, competitive, and Ultra 4K. Take a look at the system configurations of all four options in the table below.
|COD MW 2 PC Specs||Minimum||Recommended||Competitive||Ultra 4K|

The minimum specifications aren’t too tough to meet, however, they might have to compromise on an immersive gameplay experience. This also doesn’t necessarily translate to upgrading the tech, but players may require high-end machines nonetheless. It’s worth noting that across all four system options, the game requires DirectX 12 and at least 72GB at launch. This could change depending on future patches and content upgrades for the game’s two-year life cycle.
