Asus has revealed a range of products aimed at gamers community at CES 2017 – Republic of Gamers. The company has launched two new gaming laptops ROG GX800VH and ROG G752 as an addition to its widely recognised gaming laptop series – ‘Republic of Gamers’. With this launch, the company is planning to give tough competition to Lenovo Legion and Samsung Odyssey gaming laptop series introduced at CES 2017.
The ROG GX800VH is claimed by Asus as world’s first gaming laptop with an 18-inch panel packed with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology for true 4K UHD gaming visuals. It comes with a Hydro Overclocking liquid-cooling system for extreme overclocking performance, plus NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080 in 2-way SLI™ for powerful, desktop-like performance. It also has the MechTAG mechanical-switch keyboard featuring anti-ghosting with 30-key rollover, and customizable ROG Aura RGB LED effects for each key.
The ROG G752 is powered by an unlocked Intel Core i7 processor and a VR-ready NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPU. It comes with a DDR4 DRAM which is overclocked to run at 2800MHz. It also offers HyperDrive RAID 0 and the latest NVM Express™ (NVMe) and PCI Express® (PCIe®) technologies for blazing-fast storage speeds.
Apart from these, Asus also launched few other gaming laptops such as ROG GL701, GL702, GL502, GL553 and GL753. The company also unveiled its gaming desktops and gaming accessories including gaming motherboards, gaming mouse, gaming router, gaming microphone, and Republic of Gamers premium gaming backpacks. The company hasn’t revealed any details about the price and availability of these products.
