Dell has launched a new product with its XPS lineup planning to repeat the success the XPS 13. The company has now launched the 2-in-1 convertible version of the XPS 13 laptop, which was claimed as on the best laptops available in the market.
Now, the all new XPS13 2-in-1 laptop offers the same experience Infinity Display XPS 13 notebook with an additional 360-degree hinge. It is built upon the same brushed aluminium and carbon fibre material as XPS 13 and also sports a same 13.3-inch IGZO IPS display with different resolution offerings according to with different models. The base model comes with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, and it goes as high as 3200×1800 pixels with top model.
The lower resolution models offer longer battery life but not as sharp images as the high-resolution models are capable. Talking about the battery life, the XPS 13 2-in-1 is powered by a 46Wh battery which company claims to provide up to 15 hours of backup or 13 hours of Netflix streaming. This extended battery backup has been made possible by the Intel Core Y-series power efficient processors which have maximum TDP of 4.5 Watts.
The base model comes with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and the company offers multiple options for 128/256/512 GB PCIe storage as well. The XPS 13 also has support for Windows Hello with a built-in fingerprint reader and Dell also offer a stylus pen with 2048 levels of sensitivity, joining the growing number of devices that support Windows Ink.
