Huawei has finally launched the Honor 6x for the international market (including India), 2 months after it was unveiled in China. It is the fourth smartphone from the company to feature a dual rear camera setup after Huawei P9, Honor 8 and Honor Magic. The company was teasing about the launch of this smartphone from last couple of weeks and finally launched it at CES 2017.
Honor 6x sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass protection on top. It is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 655 processor with a quad-core cluster clocked at 2.1GHz and another cluster at 1.7GHz. The phone features a fingerprint sensor at the back which company claims to unlock the device in just 0.3 seconds. The device comes with a non-removable back panel and packs in 3340mAh battery clubbed with fast charging technology.
Talking about the cameras, the device features dual rear camera setup with one 12-megapixel sensor and another 2-megapixel sensor for depth sensing. The device also features an 8-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 on top.
The Honor 6X comes in two different variants – one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage priced at US$ 249.99 (Rs. 17050 approx.), and another one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage device priced at US$ 299.99 (Rs. 20460 approx.). Both the variants allow further storage expansion up to 128GB with a MicroSD card.

Even though the company has mentioned India in the list of countries the phone will be available, they haven’t said anything specifically about the pricing and availability for the Indian market.
