Samsung Electronics recently unveiled new CH711 Quantum Dot Curved monitor, designed with gamers in mind. It comes in two variants — 27-inch and 31.5-inch display and is set to release commercially early 2017. Samsung, however, will showcase CH711 during CES 2017 next month alongside its recently launched CFG70 and CF791.
Both the Samsung CH711 variants come featuring 2560 x 1440 pixels wide-screen QHD resolution, 1800R curvature which is visible, and 178-degree viewing angle. Looks wise, Samsung CH711 sports three-sided Boundless design and white chassis, keeping the power and HDMI cables concealed within the stand.
“Today’s multimedia consumers have heightened expectations; they demand an immersive experience that makes them feel like they’re part of the games they play and the content they view. Our new Quantum Dot Curved monitors offer brilliant design, richer color, and even deeper contrast than ever before,” said Samsung.

Samsung’s explains its Quantum Dot Monitor series (comprising CH711, CFG70, and CF791) is designed with professional, hardcore gamers in mind. It has been possible with for Samsung with its Quantum dot picture technology. To explain, Quantum dots are minuscule particles that emit different colors determined by their size.
Samsung CFG70, on the other hand, is also based on 1800R curvature and a uniform 178-degree wide viewing angle. It comes in 24-inch and 27-inch models and was showcased first in September this year during IFA in Berlin.
