Xiaomi has just announced its new television set at CES 2017 – Mi TV 4. The new Mi TV 4 is high-end set with a 4.9mm ultra-thin borderless metallic design. The Chinese company has unveiled the new television series in three different panel sizes – 49, 55 and the largest 65-inch.
The Mi TV 4 also features Xiaomi’s “Patch Wall” software, which company claims to be an AI system capable of predicting content based on what you’ve already watched. It is also company’s first TV to incorporate Dolby Atmos audio technology for superior sound output and cinema-grade experience.
The 65-inch model is designed with a modular approach allowing users to upgrade the TV by swapping out the current motherboard and other parts. The new Mi TV 4 also comes bundled with Mi TV Bar which includes 10 speakers, 2 wireless rear satellite speakers, and a subwoofer.
Talking about the specs, the Mi TV 4 sports a 4K display with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. It is powered by a quad-core 64-bit flagship TV processor and also features Dolby and DTS dual audio decoding. The company will be launching the 65-inch version with Mi TV Bar setup in China for priced under $2,000 later this year. The 49-inch and 55-inch variants will also available soon.
