CES 2023: LG announces new range of OLED TVs with Dolby Vision and a9 AI Processor Gen 6

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023 is about to begin. However, many companies have already announced their new range of devices. Yesterday Samsung launched its new range of refrigerators, and today LG unveiled their new range of OLED TVs. The company has introduced the LG Z3, G3, and C3 OLED Evo TV lineup.

It comes with a premium, self-lit viewing experience, advanced picture processing technologies and an enhanced version of the WebOS. The new TVs are claimed to have higher brightness, colour accuracy, and detail and will be offered in various sizes across all three models.

The LG a9 powers this new range of OLED TVs with AI processor Gen 6, which will use AI-assisted learning to improve picture and sound quality based on important factors. It will also offer surround sound virtualisation via the TV’s speaker system. The new range of TVs also equips the pixel-level brightness mapping, which produces greater brightness than the previous generation.

The LG 2023 OLED series also includes the latest versions of their in-house TV operating system, WebOS. It provides a more personalised user experience through a new home page, a revised user interface, and the Quick Cards feature, which provides quick access to the most-liked material and recommendations based on viewing history. The update also includes a new AI Concierge, which displays a curated list of content options based on the user’s viewing and search history.

The TVs continue to support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos picture and audio enhancements. LG will exhibit new TVs at CES 2023, which will take place from January 5-8 in Las Vegas.
