Chhatriwali OTT Release Date: Where and when to stream it online

The Hindi language film, Chhatriwali, is now streaming on the OTT platform Zee5. Releasing directly online, the OTT premiere date of the film is January 20th 2023, which is the third Friday of the month.

Zee5, earlier taking to their official social networking account, Twitter, shared the OTT release date of the movie. They also shared a motion picture featuring Rakul Preet Singh announcing the release date. She can be seen holding a book of ‘Concise Biology’ in the motion picture.

Announcing its arrival on the streamer today, they wrote, ‘Saal ki sabse important class ab hogayi hai shuru🤩 Toh jaldi jaake dekhiye #ChhatriwaliOnZEE5, right now!’. OTT viewing audiences’ can add ‘Chhatriwali’ to their viewing list, this weekend.

Ronnie Screwvala is the producer of the film, and Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar is the director. Chhatriwali is a Zee5 Original film and an RSVP presentation. Apart from Rakul, the movie stars Sumeet Vyas, Satish Kaushik, Dolly Ahluwalia, Rakesh Bedi, Sumit Soni, and  Vikram Sharma, among others.

Chhatriwali Storyline

The story is set in Haryana, a comedy, in the film Rakul Preet Singh portrays the character of an unemployed graduate. She ends up taking the job as the head of quality control at a condom factory. She is embarrassed initially about her job, but she quickly understands the importance of safe sex. She then decides to remove the stigma around the discussion of sex education. The importance of male contraceptives and safe sex is highlighted in the film.
