TikTok is without a doubt one of the most popular social media platforms these days. At one point, the app even raced past the likes of Instagram and others. The app commands a lot of attention thanks to collaborations with celebrities and popular influencers. You can now find several apps which emulate the TikTok concept, and several of these are made by Indian developers.
One such app is Chingari, which has been widely promoted as the ‘Desi’ alternative to TikTok. The app was launched in 2018, but has recently witnessed a surge in popularity. According to the app’s developers, Chingari witnessed a record growth in the last few days and has recorded over 2.5 million downloads.
