Indian fans of the Netflix show, Elite, can rejoice, as the makers in India have released the the Indian adaptation of the show, titled ‘Class.’
A lot was being speculated about this remake, owing to which Netflix recently released the trailer thereby adding more to the anticipation among viewers.
Class: OTT Release Details – Where and When to Watch Online?
Fans can watch Class on Netflix on February 3, 2023. The trailer of the show features many new faces and has a desi appeal of the international show. The teaser of the show was announced last year during Netflix’s Global Fan event; however, the official release date of the show is awaited.
Meanwhile, the new season of the popular Spanish show, Elite, was released recently on Netflix.

Directed by Ashim Ahluwalia, Class is produced by Bodhitree Multimedia Limited in association with Future East.
While a few names were shared in the media reports, Netflix had not revealed the cast of Class last year. However, the team took to social media to share some interesting and wacky images of the cast, which includes Gurfateh Pirzada, Anjali Sivaraman, Ayesha Kanga, Chayan Chopra as Dhruv, Chintan Rachchh, Cwaayal Singh, Madhyama Segal, Moses Koul, Naina Bhan, Piyush Khati and Zeyn Shaw as Neeraj, Suhani, Yashika, Faruq, Balli, Saba, Sharan, Koel, Dheeraj, and Veer.

Class: Trailer and Premise
Not a lot has been revealed about Class earlier, however, sharing the trailer, Netflix said, “Paisa bolta hai… but will money be able to hide the web of lies, crime and pretense? All your questions will be answered in this special #Class, an official adapt of Elite on February 3, only on Netflix!”
Reports state that it revolves around friendships, relationships, and the dynamics related to them, adding more with hatred, clashes, and friction. Presented as a coming-of-age show, the Class will showcase aspects of love, drama, and power. The premise, as shared by Netflix, reads, “What unfolds in the posh lanes of a Delhi school? Where will their lives take them? The questions, for now, are unanswered, but they will be answered real soon.”
Meanwhile, the popular Spanish series, Elite created by Carlos Montero and Dario Madrona, revolves around events that unfold when different people come together. Their dynamics change the life of their own and the ones related to them from high-profile families.

Class: Message from the Makers
During the launch of the show at the Global Fan Event, Tudum director Ashim Ahluwalia said that the show would be presented like a universe that he had envisioned, keeping the Indian audience in mind where every journey of the character will be different and fascinating. Nuances like emotions, impulsive thinking, and more will be showcased in a dramatic format. Moreover, several layers have been included in the show making the narrative addictive and wild. He added that with the introduction of new faces, the Indian audience would be invited into a unique world.
