Coolpad Cool 10 with Helio P30 and side-mounted fingerprint scanner launched: price, specifications

Chinese brand Coolpad has been absent in the smartphone market of late. The company had launched the Coolpad Cool 5 smartphone in India back in October last year. Now the smartphone maker has announced a new device dubbed as Cool 10 in its home country.

The latest offering packs impressive specifications including triple cameras, big battery and a 3D curved design. The Coolpad Cool 10 also carries an affordable price tag. Let’s take a look at what the latest smartphone offers out of the box as well as its pricing and availability:

Coolpad Cool 10 specifications and features

The Coolpad Cool 10 comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner

On the display front, the Coolpad Cool 10 features an IPS LCD screen measuring 6.57-inches. It is surrounded by thin bezels and there is a waterdrop notch on the top. The right side of the phone houses volume rocker and a power button which also doubles up as a fingerprint scanner. The back panel features a 3D curved gradient design and the smartphone ships in Glazed Black, Charm Blue and Ying Beibai colour options. 

The Coolpad Cool 10 sports triple rear camera setup inside a rectangular module on the back. It consists of a 16MP main sensor with f/1.5 aperture and support for digital zoom up to 4x. Details about the other two sensors are not known at the time of writing this post. The Coolpad Cool 10 features an 8MP selfie camera. 

On the hardware front, the Coolpad Cool 10 is powered by MediaTek Helio P30 chipset. The SoC is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. There is a microSD card slot for additional storage expansion. The smartphone is backed by a 4,800mAh battery unit that can be charged via a USB-C port. 

Coolpad Cool 10 pricing and availability

The Coolpad Cool 10 is priced at RMB 899 (~Rs 9,500) in China. It is up for pre-orders on with sales commencing from June 12th. There is no word on international availability of the smartphone.
