Coolpad has unveiled the all-new Coolpad Cool S mid-range smartphone. Like other similarly-priced phones from the brand, the Cool S also comes with glass panels on its front and rear. The handset comes in three gradient color options.

The Cool S features a punch-hole display. For photography, it is equipped with a 48-megapixel quad-camera system and an impressive front camera. The phone also offers users generous internal storage and a large-sized battery.

The Coolpad Cool S has a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display that produces Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone runs Android 10. For security, it comes with support for face unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

The display punch-hole houses a 25-megapixel selfie snapper. The rear cameras consist of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel camera for macro shots, and a 0.3-megapixel depth sensor.

The Cool S is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P60 chipset and 4GB of RAM. For storage, it has a microSD card slot and internal storage of 128GB. The phone is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery. It is unclear whether the phone supports fast charging.

Coolpad Cool S pricing and availability

The Cool S has arrived in Nepal with a price tag of NPR 22,295 (~Rs 14,100). It comes in three colours such as Night Black, Lapis Blue, and Moon White. There is no word on whether the device will be releasing in India.
