Coolpad Legacy with 6.36-inch Display and 4,000mAh Battery Announced

Coolpad has announced a new mid-range phone called the Coolpad Legacy. Aimed towards a budget-conscious audience, the Legacy comes with decent specs at an affordable price of $130 (~Rs 9,150).

Coolpad Legacy Specifications and Features

The phone features a full screen 6.36-inch IPS LCD panel that offers full HD+ resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The modest Snapdragon 450 chipset along with 3GB of RAM powers the device.

The Legacy comes with an internal storage of 32GB, which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD. The smartphone offers a near stock experience of Android 9 Pie.

Coolpad Legacy

The Coolpad Legacy features a 4,000mAh battery. The company has included support for Quick Charge 3.0 on the device. The smartphone is fitted with a vertical dual camera setup that includes a primary 16-megapixel sensor and 5-megapixel depth sensor. It features a 13-megapixel front camera for snapping selfies.

A fingerprint sensor can be seen on the rear side of the phone. The smartphone carries support for other features such as a hybrid SIM slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, USB-C and a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone comes with a polycarbonate and glass combination chassis that measures 165.8 x 80.5 x 8.4mm and weighs 169.8 grams.

Coolpad Legacy Price

The Coolpad Legacy is available in the US through Metro pre-paid service from T-Mobile with a price tag of $130 (~Rs 9,150). It comes in a single Quick Silver colour. There is no word on the availability of the phone outside of the US at present.
