Two months ago, Coolpad had launched the Mega 5A smartphone with an enticing price tag of Rs. 6,999. Today, the company has introduced a new smartphone called Coolpad Note 8 in India. The Note 8 offers its users with a big display, a dual camera setup, 4 GB of RAM and an irresistible price tag. The handset is available for buying exclusively through Paytm Mall.
Coolpad Note 8 Specifications, Features and Pricing
A 5.99-inch IPS LCD screen is available on the newly announced Coolpad Note 8 smartphone. It offers an aspect ratio of 18:9 and Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. Even though it is a mid-range phone, the handset boasts a sleek appeal thanks to its metal unibody construction. A fingerprint scanner is available on the backside of the phone.
The MediaTek MT6750T chipset powers the Coolpad Note 8 along with 4 GB of RAM. The handset features an internal storage of 64 GB and offers a dedicated microSD card slot for extra storage. It comes loaded with Android 8.0 Oreo OS
The Coolpad Note 8 is packed with a 4,000mAh battery. However, there is no support for fast charging on the device. The battery of the smartphone promises around 8 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time.
Apart from the fingerprint scanner, the other security feature available on the Coolpad Note 8 is face unlock which relies on the f/2.2 aperture 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The vertical dual camera setup of the smartphone features an f/2.0 aperture 16-megapixel primary sensor and 0.3-megapixel secondary sensor. The LED flash is located on the side of the dual cameras. The photography features available on the Coolpad Note 8 are blur mode, filters, face beauty for enhanced selfies and more.
The Coolpad Note 8 measures 151 x 72.5 x 8.3mm and it weighs 185 grams. The other features of the Note 8 are dual 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, microUSB, 3.5mm audio jack and GPS.
The Coolpad Note 8 is the first Paytm Mall exclusive smartphone. It is available for purchase starting from today with a price tag of Rs. 9,999. It comes in a single color choice of Black Piano.
