Death’s Game Part 2 Release Date: This is when episodes 5-8 will be available

Death Game is one of the most interesting K-Dramas released in 2023. Inspired by a webtoon of the same name, the show’s first four episode left a memorable impact on viewers, including us (more on this in the review section). The show was in the news, right from the trailer had dropped thanks to its theme and casting. What had impressed the audience was that the theme of the show is intriguing, and the premise is fresh. Coming over to the casting, Seo In-guk, who is known for his roles in Doom at Your Service, Shopping King Louie, and Reply 1997, plays the central male character in it and has done a comendable job. The show is written by Lee Won-sik and illustrated by Ggulchan, also serialized in 2019 on Naver Webtoon, and serves as the basis for the show. 

Death’s Game Part 2 Episode Guide and Release Updates 

The first four episodes of much-awaited Kdrama Death’s Game is now available on Amazon Prime Video in selected regions, including the US. It premiered on the streaming service on December 15, 2023. Confirming the digital arrival of the show, the streamer on Twitter wrote, “The amount of talent in one room will be insane 😭🔥 #DeathsGame.”

The same day, the web series debuted on the TVING network. A new episode airs every Friday on the network.

Death’s Game Official Trailer

On November 27, 2023, the streaming service released the highly anticipated official trailer for Death’s Game series. It has been generating significant attention on social media. The trailer caption reads, “Will Choi Yi-jae survive 12 cycles of life and death? 💀 #DeathsGame premieres 15 Dec.”

Death’s Game Teaser and Everything We Know So Far

Kang Ha-neul was initially offered the part of Choi Yi-jae. On February 8 this year, the lead cast was confirmed. After an entire script reading session on February 14, reports suggested Seo In-guk commenced shooting on the 20th of the same month. Dexter Studios, on May 31, 2023, announced that they will co-produce the VFX of Death’s Game. Ha Byung-hoon is the show’s writer and director. Park Seung composed the music for the series. The Hangul title of the show is 이재, 곧 죽습니다, which means Yi-jae, You’re Going to Die Soon.

The Cast of Death’s Game

In general, Part 1 of Death’s Game was quite impressive. The unique take on the sensitive theme of death adds a layer of intrigue that keeps viewers hooked.The storytelling shines as individual character narratives seamlessly intertwine with the overarching plot, creating a captivating viewing experience. While the show can be emotionally intense, the well-timed story breaks keep the audience on the edge of their seats.
