Ellysium Automotive stated that Voltly Energy recently inked an initial agreement with the Telangana government to acquire 15 acres of property in Zaheerabad to establish a dedicated production plant for electric vehicles, which will be operational this year.

According to the company, EVeium will endeavour to provide users with the best collection of EV options, including electric scooters, bicycles, and electric bikes.

Aditya Reddy, EVeium’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, stated, “With global fuel price, inflation, and rising environmental awareness, developing our EVeium brand in India is a strategist’s dream. We’re presenting three electric scooters with the country’s value positioning and mobility competition in mind.”

He further stated that the company plans to create a complete ‘Made-in-India’ product, which will allow the brand to regulate quality and technology following the needs of Indian clients. “The brand intends to invest more than Rs 250 crore to establish the plant, which will be operational by the end of the current fiscal year,” the company stated.

Understanding the current context, where there have been several entrants in the industry, the company stated: “To be able to drive the e-mobility mission with the Indian Government Panchamrit vision, Ellysium Automotives has launched the 100% Indian electric vehicle venture.”

EVeium also stated that it would offer its telematics app with features, including Digi-locker, nearest charging station location, and geo-fencing, among others.

Muzammil Riaz, Group CEO of META4, stated, “We intend to manufacture quality-driven EVs at accessible prices for Indian customers in compliance with the Indian regulatory authority’s Fame-II approvals. With a competent and skilled crew, we are ready to change Indian ideas about what it is like to ride a secure and confident EV,”

As part of its initial expansion plan, EVeium plans to establish a presence in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and West Bengal by the end of this fiscal year.
