[Exclusive] Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Press Render Leaked Ahead of August Launch

Samsung’s next generation foldable is all to be unveiled next month. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 has been tipped for an August 10th launch. The smartphone will be revealed alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 4 at Samsung’s latest Unpacked event. Now, Team Pricebaba has uncovered an official press render of the Galaxy Z Fold 4, courtesy of industry sources. The render showcases a Galaxy S22-like rear camera module as well as three fairly muted colour options – Beige, Grey, and Black. The smartphone is expected to be thinner and lighter than its predecessor, and have a less visible crease in the middle of the main display. The design is expected to be more or less similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 3, with a focus on improving the durability and making it more rustproof and waterproof.

Rumoured specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. The eagerly anticipated foldable smartphone is set to feature a 4,400mAh battery with 25W charging and a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, 12MP ultra wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto sensor with 3X zoom. The smartphone is also expected to come with a foldable 7.6-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 6.2-inch secondary AMOLED screen with an HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Expected price and launch timeline

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected to be cheaper than its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 3. Rumours claim Samsung will offer a cheaper entry-level variant with 128GB of storage in order to lower the starting price. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes in two variants – one with 256GB of storage and one with 512GB of internal storage. As mentioned above, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is tipped for an August 10th launch. Some sources claim the smartphone will go on sale on August 26th.
