While Lenovo is on the verge of launching the Lenovo K6 Power in India, import data suggests that the company may also launch the K6 Note during the event. Initially, both the phones were unveiled during the IFA 2016 exhibition in Berlin. In terms of specifications, there are no major differences between these two phones except the display size and an additional 4GB RAM option.
It has been a week or so since Lenovo is teasing the launch of the K6 Power on its social media profiles. Even though the company has not confirmed the arrival of the K6 Note in India, around 10,000 units including 2,000 4GB variants of the K6 Note have already been imported to India.
The Lenovo K6 Power sports a 5-inch Full HD display. It is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor. Despite it featuring two variants globally — 2GB RAM + 16GB memory and 3GB RAM + 32GB memory, the company will most likely launch only the 3GB RAM variant in India.
The Lenovo K6 Note, on the other side, sports a bigger 5.5-inch screen. It is also powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.4GHz. This phone comes in two variants — 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM. Both these variants come with 32GB internal storage.
On the camera front, both the phones house a 13-megapixel rear snapper paired with an 8-megapixel selfie camera. They run Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system while packing in a massive 4,000mAh battery.
Both the Lenovo phones carry a fingerprint scanner on the back which sits right below the camera module. In terms of connectivity, these devices support 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio, and microUSB 2.0.
Looking at the import price, we are expecting the Lenovo K6 Power to be priced at Rs 7,999 to undercut the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime which is priced at Rs 8,999. We also expect the Lenovo K6 Note to be priced at Rs 9,999 and Rs 11,999 for 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variant respectively.
