Exclusive: Oppo A57 Launching in India Soon

Oppo India is all set to launch the Oppo A57 in India soon. Our sources revealed that the India launch of the device is nearby and will be scheduled in the coming days. The A57 is a mid-range phone and will come with a 16-megapixel front facing camera. Oppo is also using the tagline “Unstoppable Selfies” for this phone.

The Oppo A57 sports a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and gets Gorilla Glass 4 protection on the front. While there is no mention of 2.5D glass but the phone does seem to have it. The Oppo A57 is powered by a Snapdragon 435 processor octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM. It runs on ColorOS 3.0 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The phone has 32GB of storage which can be further expandable up to 256GB. There is a front mounted fingerprint scanner which is a first in Oppo’s A series of smartphones.

The A57 has a 13-megapixel camera with PDAF (Phase Detection AutoFocus) at the back with a LED flash. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera has an f2.2 aperture while the front camera has an f2.0 aperture. The phone also gets Beautify 4.0 which is software enhancements by Oppo to improve the selfie.

Oppo A57 Fingerprint

The Oppo A57 is a Dual SIM phone and has 2 Nano SIM slots. The phone has bands to support 4G in India but it is unknown if there is VoLTE support. The phone weighs 147gms and gets connectivity features like Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz). The phone houses a 2900mAh battery under its metal unibody and will be available in Gold color only.
