- OPPO is planning to launch two new foldable smartphones this fall
- The upcoming foldable phones are likely to feature Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset
After entering the foldable smartphone market with the Find N in December 2021, OPPO seems to be working on two new foldable smartphones. According to Yogesh Brar, OPPO will bring two new foldable smartphones powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset to the global markets this fall which will compete against the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4.
The latest foldable flagships are expected to be branded as OPPO Find N Fold, a tablet-like foldable smartphone, and Find N Flip, a clamshell smartphone. According to reports, the devices have been registered with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Apart from that, we don’t have any additional information on the devices.
The OPPO Find N was the company’s first foldable smartphone, and it sold out in minutes after it went on sale. It is worth noting that the smartphone was launched in only China and cost roughly Rs 1,00,000. This time around, OPPO may be mulling a global launch of its upcoming foldable. As per the rumours, OPPO was internally testing its two smartphones from Find series in various regions of Asia and Europe.
Apart from the foldable smartphones, OPPO is also expected to launch Find X5 Pro with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and ColorOS 13 this year. Recently the company launched its OPPO Watch 3 series with Snapdragon Wear 5 Gen 1 in China.
We anticipate learning more about the OPPO Find N Fold and Find N Flip in the coming months.
