Last week, Realme announced its 240W SuperVOOC charging technology. It was also confirmed that it will be first seen on the Realme GT Neo 5, which will debut in February. Pricebaba has obtained exclusive information from industry sources that the Realme GT Neo 5 will debut globally at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 tech trade show, which will take place between February 27th and March 2nd, in Barcelona, Spain.
The specifications of the Realme GT Neo 5 are already known since it was recently certified by the TENAA authority. The device is expected to come with two different battery types, which will support up to 240W fast charging.

The Realme GT Neo 5 will feature a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole design. It will offer a 1.5K resolution (2,722 x 1,240 pixels), a refresh rate of 144Hz, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The phone will come preinstalled with the Realme UI 4.0-based Android 13 OS.
The GT Neo 5 will feature a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The rear camera setup will be headlined by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera. It will be assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
Under the hood, the GT Neo 5 will arrive with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and up to 16GB of RAM. The 4,600mAh battery of the device will support 150W fast charging and come with up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Its 5,000mAh battery, on the other hand, will support 240W rapid charging and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage. The handset is expected to come with a plastic frame and RGB lights At present, there is no information on the price of the device.
There is no India-specific launch information about the Realme GT Neo 5 available yet. Since the Realme GT Neo 3 was released in India in Q2 2022, it is likely that the GT Neo 5 may debut around the same time in the country.
