[Exclusive]: Vivo Y30 5G to come with Dimensity 700 SoC and 6GB RAM; launch soon

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo is set to launch another smartphone in its Y series. Today we got exclusive information from our industry sources that Vivo will be launching the 5G version of its Vivo Y30 smartphone. Vivo Y30 was launched in December 2020. Coming over to the upcoming device, the Vivo Y30 5G smartphone will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage.

The Vivo Y30 5G smartphone is expected to launch soon. Last week the smartphone was also spotted on the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) website. So let’s take a closer look at what we know about the Vivo Y30 5G smartphone so far.

Vivo Y30 5G expected specifications

The Vivo Y30 5G smartphone might come with 6.51-inch HD+ IPS LCD. Under the hood, the smartphone will have a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device will run on ColorOS on top of Android 12 out of the box.

The smartphone might have a dual camera setup at the back with a 13MP primary sensor and 8MP ultrawide sensor. On the front, it will offer an 8MP selfie camera. Apart from that, the smartphone will get its juice from a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging.

At the moment, we don’t have any official information about the pricing or availability of the device, but we can expect it to be a budget, mid-range smartphone. However, the Vivo Y30 5G will compete against the Samsung Galaxy M13 5G smartphone, which was unveiled yesterday.
