Bookings for the highly-anticipated vehicle have been available since its debut at Auto Expo 2023, with the announcement of its price expected to follow shortly. A YouTuber shared a video revealing the Zimny 5 door entering a dealer showroom in Delhi.
According to the video, users can head to the Nexa showroom in Delhi to gain an in-person experience of the yet to be launched. Oye Arjun’s YouTuber channel is the first one to release the video. You can also watch the entire video here.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny is going to be launched in Zeta and Alpha variants. Equipped with a ladder-on frame chassis, the new Jimny is set to impress off-road enthusiasts. Additionally, it comes standard with Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro four-wheel drive (4WD) system, offering exceptional performance both on and off the road. The Jimny’s AllGrip Pro 4WD system ensures an unparalleled driving experience, making it a top contender in its class.
Powered by a 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine, the Jimny 5-door offers 103 horsepower and 134 Nm torque, which can be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed torque converter automatic unit. Despite its lower power and torque compared to its rival, the Mahindra Thar, the Jimny can still achieve the same power-to-weight ratio. Its lower kerb weight makes this possible, which is a remarkable feat for the compact off-roader.
The booking for Maruti Jimny and Fronx has already started in India, and the company has already received more than 30,000 bookings for the upcoming SUVs.
