Flipkart Accidentally Took POCO C51 Microsite Live Confirming April 7 Launch; Price, Specifications, and More

POCO, the popular smartphone brand, is all set to launch its latest budget offering, the POCO C51 in India on April 7. According to a now-removed microsite, the device will be available for purchase on Flipkart, one of India’s leading e-commerce platforms. The company has not yet confirmed the launch details on its official website or social media handles.

POCO C51 Flipkart Listing

The POCO C51 is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi A2+ that was launched a month ago. As per Flipkart’s listing, the smartphone will feature a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution and a water drop notch. It will be available in two colours – Blue and Black. The device will also sport a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the POCO C51 will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 processor coupled with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB eMMC 5.2 storage. It will also feature virtual RAM technology that will use up to 3GB of storage as RAM. The smartphone will run on Android 13 Go Edition out of the box.

In terms of camera specifications, the POCO C51 will feature an 8-megapixel dual-rear camera setup along with a QVGA lens and an LED flash. On the front, it will sport a 5MP front shooter.

The POCO C51 will pack a massive 5000mAh battery unit with 10W charging support. There will be a micro-USB port for charging it. Connectivity options on the smartphone will include dual-SIM, 4G, 2.4GHz WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and much more.

POCO C51 Expected Price

The pricing of the POCO C51 is expected to be somewhere between Rs 7,000 to Rs 8,000 in India, according to speculations.

The POCO C51 is the brand’s second budget smartphone launch in 2023, after the POCO C55, which was a rebranded Redmi 12C, was launched in February. With the launch of the POCO C51, the brand aims to expand its budget smartphone portfolio in India and cater to the needs of its budget-conscious customers.
