Earlier this year, Samsung had already launched On5 Pro and On7 Pro in India and now the company is all set to launch the next smartphone, Galaxy On8 exclusively on Flipkart. We had already covered a news regarding the import of Samsung Galaxy “The Next On” with model number SM-G5510. According to import-export website Zauba, it was valued at a price of Rs 6843.
The teaser on Flipkart doesn’t reveal much about the specs of the Galaxy On8. However, it says that the Galaxy On8 sports a Super AMOLED Full HD display and has a 3GB RAM with a “long lasting battery.” Talking about the specs, though Samsung hasn’t confirmed yet, but according to the PhoneRadar, the Galaxy On8 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz.
The device will also pack a 16GB inbuilt storage which can be increased up to 128GB with a MicroSD card. Talking about the camera, the Galaxy On8 will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel camera at front. Unlike earlier devices of On series, the Galaxy On8 will also have a fingerprint sensor integrated into the physical home button.
We are expecting Samsung to price the Galaxy On8 around Rs 16,000. Samsung is likely to launch the device on 2nd October and most probably it will go sale on same day keeping Flipkart’s shopping festive “Big Billion Days” in mind.
Earlier iterations of Samsung’s On series smartphones On5 Pro and On7 Pro had features like S Bike mode, Ultra Data Saving, Turbo speed charging and more which are also expected from Galaxy On8.
