Fossil has updated its Hybrid range of watches today. The Fossil Hybrid HR is the cross between a classic analogue watch and a smartwatch. This means that consumers would not be able to customise the watch faces. That being said, the watch sports a number of smart features like an always-on display, heart rate monitoring and more. Recently, Xiaomi launched its Mi Watch with Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor and e-SIM support which helps in making phone calls. This smartwatch features Google’s Wear OS and an AMOLED display panel with customised watch faces. It also supports Xiaomi’s Xiao AI voice assistant and lets users download additonal apps.
Fossil Hybrid HR specifications and features
The Fossil Hybrid HR watch has a circular always-on display under the traditional watch hands. The display shows information like the weather, date, call and texts, and the step count. Furthermore, a special heart rate monitor is also a part of the package. This feature distinguishes the new Fossil watch from the company’s other hybrid watches.
The watch is capable of analysing data including calories burned, sleep pattern, workouts and active minutes. The Fossil Hybrid HR is water-resistant to 3ATM and users can wear it while swimming. Moreover, consumers also get an option to control their music, use a timer and stopwatch. The watch is equipped with a front light so that people can see their faces in the dark and it can also ring a smartphone. The company promises a two-week battery life when all its features are in use.
Fossil Hybrid HR pricing and availability
The Fossil Hybrid HR watch has been launched for $195 (~ Rs 13,850) and is available for buying from November 6th in the USA.
