Fossil has expanded its range of smartwatches in India by launching the Fossil Hybrid HR. Originally unveiled in November last year, the latest Fossil wearable comes with an always-on display. As the name suggests, the Fossil Hybrid HR fuses smart features into a traditional-looking watch that has mechanical hands. As per the brand, the device offers call and text previews, workout training, real-time weather updates and more on its power-efficient display. The Fossil Hybrid HR lets users preview texts or emails, answer calls, and configure the three push buttons on the wearable to trigger actions of their choice.
Fossil Hybrid HR specifications and features
The Fossil Hybrid HR smartwatch is equipped with a heart rate sensor, and the device is capable of tracking steps taken, distance covered, calories burnt, sleeping patterns, and active minutes. These stats from the wearable can be configured to show on the always-on display of the smartwatch. The device allows users to log workouts and measure progress over time on the go. Once paired with a smartphone over Bluetooth, users can use the Fossil Smartwatch app on their phone to customise the watch faces, filter incoming calls, set on-watch features, check tracked fitness data in-depth, and much more.
As for the other features, the Fossil Hybrid HR features a 42mm round-shaped dial. The device lets you control music playback, set alarms, timers, stopwatch, and more. The wearable has 3ATM water resistance. The smartwatch is compatible with iOS devices running iOS 10 or higher and Android products running Android 5.0 or later. The company claims that the Hybrid HR is capable of providing up to two weeks of battery life. The device supports Rapid Charging, which allows the battery of the wearable to fully charge in just an hour.
