[Exclusive] This is What the Samsung Galaxy A50 Will Actually Look Like

We have managed to access a few images from the Samsung Galaxy A50 user manual. The images reveal the smartphone’s key design highlights, including the U-shaped notch at the top. As suggested by a recent leak, the Galaxy A50 will feature an Infinity-U display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. While the U-shaped notch helps ensure a very thin top bezel, the smartphone’s bottom bezel will not be anywhere near as thin. That said, the smartphone will still boast a higher screen-to-body ratio compared to the previous generation Galaxy A-series smartphones. The images also confirm the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack, triple rear cameras, NFC support, USB Type-C port, and an In-display fingerprint sensor.

Earlier this week, a report published by MySmartPrice revealed the complete specifications of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A50, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A10 smartphones. While no specific launch date has been confirmed just yet, the three smartphones are expected to be made official by the company very soon. We have spotted a support page for the Galaxy A50 SM-A505F/DS variant on the Samsung India website, which hints at an imminent launch in the Indian market.

Galaxy A50 Support Page Goes Live on Samsung India Website

The support page for Galaxy A50 on the Samsung India website confirms that the smartphone will soon be launched in the country. As expected, however, the support page does not confirm any key feature of the upcoming smartphone. Along with the Galaxy A50, Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A10 and Galaxy A30 smartphones as well. While the Galaxy A50 will be a mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy A10 and Galaxy A30 are expected to be slotted slightly higher than the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M30 smartphones in the budget segment.

The Samsung Galaxy A50 will arrive with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display featuring 1080 x 2340 Full HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Unlike its rivals, however, the Galaxy A50 will come with a glossy polycarbonate build. While the plastic construction may not impress everyone, the hardware specifications of the Galaxy A50 will definitely impress most buyers. One of the key highlights of the Galaxy A50 will be its In-display fingerprint sensor. Powering the A50 will be an Exynos 9610 10nm octa-core chipset clocked with four ARM Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.3 GHz and four ARM Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz. The mid-range smartphone will be available in two memory configurations: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. On the back of the handset will be a triple-lens camera setup with a 25MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. It will have a 25MP resolution snapper on the front for selfies and video calls. Keeping the lights on will be a 4000mAh capacity non-removable battery with 15W fast charging support. Samsung Galaxy A50 will be available in three color options at launch: Blue, Black, and White. All the three upcoming Galaxy A-series smartphones will debut with the Android Pie-based One UI out of the box.
