Garmin Instinct Crossover has launched in the global market. It is a rugged hybrid smartwatch from the famous wearables maker. As the name suggests, the latest offering is catered towards adventurous as well as fashion-conscious users.
Apart from the latest Instinct Crossover, Garmin already offers a range of other hybrid smartwatches in its portfolio. The latest smartwatch also joins Garmin’s Instinct series. It is offered in solar and non-solar versions. Read on to know what the wearable device offers out of the box.

The Garmin Instinct Crossover sports a circular dial with a monochrome display of 176 x 176 pixels. It has a transflective memory-in-pixel screen and analog hands with Super LumiNova coating that displays time even in dark conditions. The analog hands can also automatically calibrate if they go out of alignment if the watch suffers a heavy shock. The smartwatch is MIL-STD-810 compliant and is heat and shock-resistant. It features a fibre-reinforced polymer bezel and case material that gives classic Casio G-Shock vibes. The wearable device is water-resistant up to 10 meters.
The Garmin Instinct Crossover comes with common health-tracking features. These include a heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, advanced sleep monitoring, stress tracker, and body battery. The smartwatch is also capable of getting information about the user’s VO2 Max, Pulse Oxide, fitness age, training status, load and effect, HRV status, and recovery time. The wearable device packs built-in sports apps, HIIT workouts, and mountain biking metrics. It also has a compass, barometric altimeter, accelerometer, and thermometer sensors. There is a multi-GNSS tracking system for better accuracy. The smartwatch is equipped with built-in incident detection for safety features.
The Garmin Instinct Crossover supports contactless payments and Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity. It packs convenient features like smart notifications, including incoming emails, texts, weather updates, and more. The Garmin Instinct Crossover is claimed to last up to 28 days in smartwatch mode and 71 days in power saver mode. The GPS tracking time is up to 31 hours.

The Garmin Instinct Crossover is offered in Tidal Blue and Graphite colours. It is priced at $500 (~Rs 40,760) for the non-solar version, whereas the solar variant carries a price tag of $549 (44,837). The smartwatch is available for purchase in the US.
