Vivo V1921A With Snapdragon 710 SoC, 8GB RAM Appears on Geekbench

On: July 15, 2019

The mysterious Vivo V1921A handset that we first reported to be spotted on TENAA has now popped up on benchmarking portal Geekbench today. The handset looks like a high-end mid-ranger and judging from the sharp certification activities on CCC and TENAA, it could launch very soon in China. Despite all the wealth of information available regarding the handset, it’s actual commercial name still remains elusive. Let’s take a look at what the Geekbench listing reveals today.

Interestingly, the Vivo V1921A has a Snapdragon 710 SoC, as per Geekbench, something that we didn’t know earlier. It has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 9.0 Pie. Besides that, the Vivo V1921A image revealed a triple camera device and a tear-drop notch design. There’s also an extra button to trigger Jovi Assistant, we presume, apart from the regular power and volume rockers.

In terms of specifications, the Vivo V1921A houses a 6.38-inch AMOLED display which is most likely Full-HD+ powered by a 4,420mAh battery coupled with 22.5W fast-charging support. There’s also no sign of a rear fingerprint reader which means that it’s likely on the front screen. The TENAA listing is fully populated now and mentions a 48MP primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary shooter, and a 2-megapixel lens. As for selfies, it is expected to have a 32MP snapper. The handset dimensions and weight are 159.53 x 75.23 x 8.13mm and 189.6 grams respectively. The phone will come with 6GB and 8GB RAM options and 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage options.
