The internal memory, however, is expandable up to 128GB using a memory card.
Specs-wise, it comes with 1920 x 1080 pixels stretched across 6 inches of AMOLED surface. The display also comes with 2.5D curved glass layered on the top of it. Furthermore, powering the Gionee M6S Plus is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor ticking at 2GHz and Qualcomm Adreno 510 GPU for graphics.
As far as cameras are concerned, it houses a 12-megpapixel primary sensor on the rear with dual-tone LED flash. Up front is an 8-megapixel secondary camera for selfies. The phone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with Gionee’s Amigo OS custom UI on top. There is also a front-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The dual-SIM Gionee M6S packs in a massive 6020mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The standard set of connectivity options includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (dual-band), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and microUSB port. Similar to the company’s M6 and M6 Plus, the M6S Plus carries an encrypted chip for securing users’ personal data.
