In the early next year, Gionee is coming up with a real beast dubbed as Gionee M2017. This beast sports a dual curved edge display along with dual rear camera setup. Although its specs and images were already floating on the internet, now they are confirmed as it was spotted while making rounds at TENAA certification and AnTuTu benchmarks.
Gionee M2017 sports a 5.7-inch 2K dual curved edge AMOLED display and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor. It comes with a whopping 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. There’s no word whether the storage is expandable or not. It has a metal unibody design with a leather back.
Looking at the images, it also features a fingerprint scanner integrated into the home button. Talking about the camera specs, it flaunts 13MP + 12MP dual rear camera setup with an LED flash. On front, it features an 8-megapixel snapper. The phone also houses a big 7000mAh battery which results in the weight of the body to be 230 grams. In terms of connectivity, the device sports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 /a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, and GPS.
Gionee M2017 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has a disappointing thickness of 10.65mm. Prior to this, Gionee S9 is the company’s first smartphone to feature dual rear camera setup. It was launched just last week with a price of 2499 Yuan (Rs 24691).
