Recently Gionee launched a budget smartphone called the Gionee Max Pro in India. Now the Chinese brand is reportedly working on a device called Gionee P15 Pro. The device has been spotted on Google Play Console.
The listing reveals some key specifications of the Gionee P15 Pro and gives us a look at the upcoming device. Going by the specs, the smartphone seems to be an entry-level offering.
Gionee P15 Pro appears on Google Play Console listing
At the top left in the Play Console listing, the Gionee P15 Pro is seen with a waterdrop notch and a thick bottom bezel. The smartphone will feature an HD display resolution of 720 x 1,640 pixels and come with a 260 PPI screen density.
The Play Console listing reveals that the Gionee P15 Pro will be powered by a MediaTek MT6765 processor that is actually Helio P35. It paired with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The smartphone will pack 3GB RAM as per the listing. On the software front, the Gionee P15 Pro is said to run on the latest Android 11 OS.
Apart from this, the Google Play Console listing doesn’t reveal any more information about the Gionee P15 Pro. We expect more details to crop up in the coming weeks.
Gionee Max Pro specifications and features
The Gionee Max Pro that was recently launched in India features a 6.52-inch HD+ display. It comes with a dedicated Google Assistant button. The smartphone is equipped with 13MP + 2MP dual cameras in a square-shaped module. There is a 8MP front-facing snapper.
The Gionee Max Pro is powered by a Spreadtrum 9863A SoC paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage. The device is backed by a massive 6,000mAh battery unit. The Gionee Max Pro runs Android 10 out of the box and comes with connectivity options like dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS.
The Gionee Max Pro costs Rs 6,999 in India and will be available for purchase from March 8th.
